The other piece for the puller is a unversal puller you can get anywhere for 10 bucks or somthing . . . its the same tool you use to pull a harmonic dampner on a small block aswell as a billion other things im sure . .

By the way, I'd hate to try and get a standard 3 legged puller in that space. I'd rather have the flat stock steel plate with the threaded opening for a bolt. How about it countymini, does that come with it?

 

Ahhh good call I had forgotten that the alta puller came with that flat piece so you dont have to lift the motor ... I was thinking of the way web motorsports pulls them with the motor lifted out a touch..

I remember when we did my 02 and I think kendel72's 04 via the "Webb lift", the frame rails didn't leave a whole lot of room for a standard puller to get in there. As it was using the center bolt method it was a tight fit on my 02.

No biggie though, a little flat stock, drill, nut & bolt and a wire welder and you'd be in business!
