Ebay HID lights Xenon

Is this the set thats on ebay with halo and HID? If so how well to they fit the vehicle, and exactly what part of the headlight doesnt fit as well as the OEM lights? What does it take to install and what wiring modifications are required? I dont have Xenons (I have halogen projectors)

Are these the lights from the ebay seller KazeSpeed?

Can you further elaborate on lighting difference between this set and OEM xenons.

I was actually looking at purchasing this same set.

HIDs are literally plug and play. As far as wiring the Halos up...that's up to the user. I'm sure there is a how-to guide somewhere around the forums. I was going to get a set of these but I liked the look of the '05 halogen lights with HIDs in 'em.

These are plug and play for my 03 mini w/ xenon preinstalled. You have to splice (cutting 2 wires) into the parking lights if you want the halos which i have not done.

Difference between oem and this:
oem use d2s bulbs (which is why i think this illuminates better? dunno maybe its just my adjusting)
this use h1 bulbs

imo, the fit is very good with no noticeable giant gap (See picture?)

i bought this from genkituning, kaze wouldn't reply to my questions, lol so i didn't buy from him

I don't mean to disrupt the sale, but anyone hoping to get OEM results will be disappointed. The OEM 1 gen xenons will have better output. If you simply want it for the esthetics, go ahead. I only commented because someone asked how they compare to OEM.

What you COULD do is open up these aftermarket projector headlights and retrofit a set of OEM projectors (like from TSX or S2000). You would have amazing results, but it takes some work.

Just giving some ideas... good luck with the sale.

You should gut and swap real HID projectors in those aftermarket lights and you'll be very happy with the output. The brightness the lights has to do with the projector and not so much the bulb. Some companies have better chrome bowls, which reflect light better inside the projectors. Look at TSX or S2000 projectors from ebay or a junkyard. They are crazy bright!

i thought the projector is suppose to help reduce the glare, not as much as oem but i wud think certainly better than the oem non-xenons wud if u put a retrofit hid kit in em. this is why i was considerin these lights rather than putting an hid kit in my 05 non-xenons

still for sale?
