WTB: Indi Blue Fuel / Gas Cover/Door
WTB: Indi Blue Fuel / Gas Cover/Door
**UPDATE** Looks like I have a swap set up with OctaneGuy! Thanks!
I have an 04 Indi Blue MCS and want to swap out the silver "cap" for the body colored flat door. Anyone have one? Or want the silver "cap" ?

Not sure on either! I'd be quite happy to trade, honestly, though I'd prefer not to have to get my new flap painted. Barring that, I'd be willing to buy someones if they had an extra or didn't want that style anymore.

I've got one with a small scratch. I had an '03 Indi Blue Cooper and was polishing out a customer's '04 and her gas door lid fell off as I was polishing it. I felt bad, so I gave her my door (I had put the MCS gas cap on that Cooper already), and kept hers as a souvenir after my Cooper was sold.
So now that door is sitting at my house--and doesn't even belong to my old Cooper! The only thing is that I don't think you can just replace the chrome door--when I put on the MCS gas cap, it was the whole assembly....wait...I think I must have that assembly in my garage, lol.
Double check if you can just use the door, and I'll be glad to trade--I will also double check the scratch to see how bad it was--I haven't seen it in over a year, lol.
If we can swap the whole assembly, I can ship you the parts--you can do the mod, and send the parts back to me so that way you aren't without the locking gas cover.

Haha, but with rising gas prices, ---who knows! LOL. Yeah not likely to happen, but I dunno, to me it's like leaving the car doors unlocked and seeing if anyone will try to break in.

My Jeep doesn't lock nor have many other cars I've owned and I've never had gas stolen. <knocks on wood>
