SOLD: JCW Alcantara steering wheel
This is the sweet fatty JCW wheel with leather and alcantara wrap. Used on my R53 for about 2k miles, so in near new condition. Will ship in the original box and packaging. Here it is installed in my car.
I am selling the wheel only - no airbag or inserts.
Asking $350 shipped to the lower 48.

Sorry to go off topic, but what did you do to the ring around the tach? It looks great and mine being bright silver has made me mad for as long as I have owned my car.

I see the picture shows that you don't have the multifuntion steering wheel. Is that a separate wheel or do you just add it from the existing wheel if you have it currently?

You add the multifunction inserts (and airbag) from your current steering wheel.

Selling because I went for the all leather version instead, for no really good reason. Not sure about R56 compatibility. You should check with a dealer parts desk on that.

The R56 wheel is different, although it looks almost just like it. The air bag is different and uses 4 locking tabs instead of 2 like the R53.

I used SEM Trim Black to paint mine. Since this is not really the place to discuss it, you can pm me for the details if you like.

Is the steering wheel still available? Does the three spoke wheel use a different airbag than the two spoke wheel I have now?

seems to still be available, he bumped it yesterday...
it DOES use a different airbag from the 2 spoke. you'll have to buy a new airbag
