(SOLD) MCS head parts
Got a MCS head to port and polish and found out theres a crack in one of the exhaust ports and cant get it fixed for a reasonable price here. So I have all the parts from the head for sale (valves, springs, keepers, cam and sprocket, rocker assembly). Head was from an '05 S with roughly 22k miles.
Valves , springs, and keepers were individually bagged with each other and marked what cylinder they came from.
Never removed cam sprocket from camshaft and camshaft was kept in head to help maintain straightness. Camshaft has some surface rust, cleaned a few areas and doesn't appear to have pitted but suggest having it checked.
One of the plastic tappet caps from one of the rockers broke. Never checked into price of replacement but would be able to transfer from another rocker.
Asking $150 OBO for all parts. Will ship via USPS flat rate in 2 boxes, one for cam/rocker assembly and one for valves. This is the best way to ship from Hawaii, price includes shipping. Willing to part out if needed.
I also have a head gasket kit w/ head bolts for a NON-S from Mini Mania. Was removed from original packaging to check everything was there, so its new, never used. Asking $150 (new through Mini Mania is $280). Buyer pays shipping due to the size of the head gasket, wont be able to ship via flat rate.
Need to get rid of this stuff, taking up space in my tool box, so if it doesn't sell will end up tossing it into the rubbish can. Everything will be well boxed to help protect it in shipping.
