That is a good price for a new one, as I just bought one during the Christmas discount. Even with the discount yours is about 2/3s the price when you factor in the ALTA S/H charges, although I do not know what replacing the clamps will cost.

As to your ALTA stickers, I was wondering - have ever put any to use? I just applied mine and found them to be much more difficult than the similar ones from M7; the M7 ones went on far, far easier and seem to be made of a better grade of vinyl, but it could just be the ALTA shape is more difficult to work with in applying it.

 

Never tried them. I like my cars sticker free.

 

I got JCW stickers cause I did not want to void warranty with aftermarket mods

 

I am sure those ALTA stickers would have been the last straw to tip the scales and push you over the mod limit to void the warranty. I think without them you'll manage to squeak by.
