OK, I have a PM to youngw. The asking price is firm--it's a clearance deal, and I'd estimate the shipping between $75 and $100 in continental US.
Brownflyer, I'll keep you posted.
cheers,
Phil

100 MILES???? SOMETHING FISHY GOING ON!!!
THE FOLLOWING IS A DIRECT QUOTE THAT YOU POSTED IN ANOTHER THREAD!!!
"Now that the issue of "value" has been raised, and since this is the going thread, I have to support the idea of saving money by spending more initially. After a year with my $200 Megan, and assorted cat/test pipe sections - 4 in all -, I have say that as I stand on the brink of spending well over $1000 for a custom made header/cat/mid-pipe that I threw good money after bad initially. Not that I regret the learning experience, but beware the hidden costs of a 200-buck header."
cheers,

See this photo from my website:

So when is indy going to post a retraction of his accusation against me? If he'd checked my website he would have seen the photo I just posted. I have never, and will never, engage in dishonest trading here. This is a near-new $200 Megan (made in China) header and accessories. The DaveSport cat alone is worth $200+, and was in my car for about a week. I'm not selling these as new--they are used and the price reflects that.

Edited...Thanks for clarification. Dont appriciate being called a moron though. If I see someone trying to pull something, I call it... nobody likes getting ripped off. So for my gross mistake, I genuinely and humbly appologize for insinuating a dishonest seller. Thanks for a great price on the header. Good luck with the sale.

So DrPhilGandini has addressed the concern you raised so if you would go back and edit your post above I would appreciate it. Otherwise I have to agree that it didn't help the general consumer in the marketplace...only served to harm the seller by making him look like he's being dishonest.
A couple of options:
I can remove indy82799's post above and the follow up replies
OR
indy82799 can just edit his post and put a retraction at the top of the post indicating why the statement below it is being retracted. If this is done at the very top of the post it will assist the new member stumbling upon this sale to be brought up to speed immediately rather than looking further down into the thread to see some type of retraction.
Let me know which option people would prefer...my preference would be the latter since it documents all the communication.
Thanks
Mark
