i have blacked out side vents for my MCS .....freshly painted flat black not one flaw in them im want to trade though for the original chrome ones. im reverting some of the blacked out peices on my car back to chrome...im willing to do an even trade or if anyone has any let me know

 

Are they actually paint, or spray paint? And if they are spray paint, why not just peel them off?

If they are painted, I might be interested, lets talk. Pictures would be nice to.

theres a link and i used a professional spray gun with flat black primer i have no flaws

 

he may have sanded them, which would leave the chrome scuffed.

I am also interested. is the Black S painted? or did you use a decal to cover the Red? if polizei doesn't want them I will trade with you. are you able to run without the markers for a few days or will i have to go without mine?

 

the process to paint them was ......sanded down the chrome with 80 grit and then sanded and wet sanded and sanded some more with 320 gritt to smooth out and then since the paint was flat black primer i did 4 coats with light sanding in between each coat....and the red s is black too

 

and i would prefer to get the vents first and then send them out also....what condition are your vents in ...any scratches ? any pics ....plus do you want to trade the side marker lense too or just the vents ?

i would be interested in this...but you have yet to work out the situation with the Box top i bought from you a couple weeks ago....nor have you replied to my PMs about it. So I' believe i'll hold off for the time being before conducting any further transactions with you.

 

wow dude ..i just read your PM today .i just sent out that box top last weekend so couple of weeks ? and second off when i get word on that box top i said i would let you know didnt i ?....so whatever man im not begging for you to trade your vents with me im sure in time ill find some either way and as i said before when i get word on the top ILL LET YOU KNOW so calm down on the negativity buddy

 

I am calm. i feel a week is plenty of time to get in touch with Alta, and you posted since my last PM. alta is fairly quick with their replies. maybe u should try posting your concerns with them in the Alta Q&A Thread. They seem to respond quickly on there as well.
