WTB: 3 SPOKE STEERING WHEEL

Hey everyone,

I'm looking to buy a 3 spoke Steering Wheel. I'm going to swap out my old 2 spoke mf wheel on my 02 so I would need the wheel, airbag, and MF buttons if possible. If you have little bits and pieces, that's ok too. Just let me know what you got.

Thanks

Just wondering........ will the 2 spoke wire harness fits 3 spoke?? Because there is a phone button on the 3 spoke wheel.

Not sure about the harness, I know people have done it though... I'm not concerned about the phone button. I just need the cruise control and stereo controls for the MF stuff.

I have a three spoke wheel that came off my GP with about 500 miles on it. I would sell it for $100.00 plus shipping. It is like brand new. It is the wheel only and has no airbag or inserts. If you need more info on the two spoke to three spoke conversion send a PM to jonnieoh. He is in the process of changing his. You will need a harness, Which I believe is just a short converter that plugs in. He will be able to tell you more as I have not seen it. The plastic inserts are cheep and can be had at a discount for NAM members at Classic MINI in Ohio. Jonnieoh was able to find a used airbag which saved him some money. Let me know if you are interested.

I did the switch and it takes about 15 minutes to swap the wheel once you have the parts. Here is a link to a parts breakdown so you can see what is needed.

Thanks, THE ITCH, but I'm leaning more towards the overpriced JCW alcantra wheel if I can get all the pieces. Thanks for responding though.
