TOMTOM GO910 for sale with extras, used for a month $375

Hi there Nam'ers. I am selling my wife's tomtom go910. You can read the full review and specs in the following link but here are the highlights which made us buy it over the Garmin:

-20gb of space = no need for SD cards to bring your tunes with you.
-customizable voices = we have yoda and homer telling us where to go
-4" wide screen = it is much easier and safer to navigate with
-it is British, just like the MINI.

the battery lasts a long time. we have two mounts so you dont have to transfer mounts between cars.

refurbished units go for $415+ on pricescan. This was a brand new unit from the manufacturer, it is used very lightly. I have all documentation, boxes, cds and manuals go with it. we are selling it because my wife will not be traveling for her work a long while, our first baby is due in two months.

Cheers
Cenk

Chillimac,
Two slight corrections to your posting:
Lastest info at pricescan.com shows Go910 refurbs at $367 best price shipped/tax free with 1 year warranty

TomTom is not a British company, their HQ is the Netherlands

thanks for the headsup. I see the refurb at that price as well. you are correct. This was a brand new one from the manufacturer. I think the new ones go between $400-$500. one must read the small print on the refurb stuff though. as a lot of vendors list without the refurb classification but when you read the small print it is apparent that it has been serviced at the manfacturer. Apparently these are usually store returns or warranty claims. thanks for looking.

Is there a way to convey the warrant with the sale of your GPS?

the warranty should be honored regardless of the private sale.

john cleese is great. Recently downloaded george Kostanza, that has to be the best.

Most warranties run from the purchase date, will you include the purchase receipt with the sale?

I checked the box. I have everything original including cord ties and the little plastic bags but no receipt. Just verified with Tomtom that this unit is alrady registered with them. They have the original in service date and will honor their warranty. If you would like I can share the serial number with you in a PM.

thank you for your comment. Tomtom is indeed a great GPS and it is very fun to own as well. much more expendable i guess. I think the price is right.

Yikes, if you registered the unit, then the warranty is specific to you. If you had a cash receipt and never registered it then there would be no problem.
See TomTom warranty page:

I was very keen on this unit but I did find Officemax has Go910s for $340. These are refurbished units of course.
