I had to sell my MINI S last week, so I have a few items for sale:
1. MINI Fini bicycle rack (new is $310) -- $200 [it has a little normal wear, but it is totally functional]
2. ebrake storage rubber tray - $10 SOLD
3. Glove box shelf - $15 SOLD
what exactly do i need to be able to put the bike rack on my mini? does it come with everything? How many bikes will it hold? Do you have pictures?
I can email you some pics if you PM me your email address, or you can just click the links below to see what it is. This is the MINI FINI bike rack. If you go to minifini.com -->http://www.minifini.com/ShopDetail.aspx?id=8, you can see the bike rack. It attaches to the MINI via a special bumper, called the sports link, (which I do not have). You can see the sports link here (for 02 - 06 MINIs)--> http://www.minifini.com/ShopDetail.aspx?id=7
I installed the sport link myself; it takes a couple of hours to do. However, once its in, its a pretty cool thing. I have also borrowed a friend's trailer and pulled it on an 800 mile road trip, using the tow link.
Hope that answers your questions. In my opinion, the sport link with the bike rack is the most stable and secure method of transporting your bike on the MINI.
I won't have time to take a pic until tomorrow; sorry about that. But here --> http://minifini.com/ShopDetail.aspx?id=8 is what it looks like. Remember you also need the MINI FINI sport link.
