WTB- Exterior trim piece on left of Windshield

Need an exterior trim piece for the exterior verticle part, on the left side of the windshield. Gloss black. The last windshield changer must not have used enough glue - it blew away a couple of days ago.

Your best bet is going to be ordering one from Morristown MINI, www.pelicanparts.com, or your favourite OEM parts vendor.

That part is less than $45 new, and I doubt you'll find too many people with an extra one lying around, although you might get lucky.

If you'll post the details of your car (year & model), I'll be happy to give the exact part number.

Bob, feel your pain on Cen IL dealers.

I have had really good luck ordering parts from the NAM vendor Classic Auto Campus 440.205.6404. Jason is the guy to talk to and make sure you mention you are a NAM member to get your discount. If you need help finding the right part number you can check RealOEM:

http://www.realoem.com/bmw/

Hope that helps.

I keep both sides in stock, along with the foam backing. It blows off because they glue it. They glue it because they break the clips and don't stock them.

I am also looking for exterior trim piece that sits above the A pillar on a 2003 Mini Cooper S. I tried looking on the pelican website, but could not find it.
Could you send me in the right direction?
Thanks much

Here is what RealOEM shows:

04 LEFT COLUMN A COVER 1 09/2003 51137128157
ONLY IN CONJUNCTION WITH
-- MOLDED PART COLUMN A LEFT 1 09/2003 51337119717

04 RIGHT COLUMN A COVER 1 09/2003 51137128158
ONLY IN CONJUNCTION WITH
-- MOLDED PART COLUMN A RIGHT 1 09/2003 51337119718

Pelican shows for $44, give Classic a call, I bet they can beat that.
