my computer has been down..... the DFIC is a fine design on many top cars including MSFITOY..... The W2A solution may or may not be better.... and I may not go that way..... The M62 moves a ton of air and I am experimenting with how best to manage the flow from intake through exhaust..... I do have the scoop and the same heatshield that Sid has..... the unit works fine...... I think the market is paying $550 to 600 for a used one......

Thanks for the quick reply. Did you notice a difference with this intercooler compared to stock. I have a 04 Cooper S JCW with 19% pulley, GIAC flash, 380cc injectors, alta intake, WEBB exhaust, DT bypass valve. Do you think it is worth getting this intercooler with the mods I have?

When my car was at your stage I found the DFIC to be big help and if you look at my old posts I thought it was one of the best mods I had made and that was at the new price... at this price it is a no brainer IMO..... others will disagree..... many of the top cars have DFICs and I may go back to it as I really believe in the concept....M7 and Peter did a hell of a job bringing something new to the Mini market...... again my car with the M62 has some pretty interesting challenges and I am still trying to figure it out....
