Do you mind weighing the crank pulley? I also have an 01/05 build and have never been able to confirm if its the lighter one or not.

Sorry for the hijack.

I just bought a new one and weighed it before I put it on, on my non-digital bathroom scale it was a little over 5lbs, and it looks just like the one in your pics.

Unfortunately, I didn't weigh my stock '03 one when it came off for the M7 crank pulley. I seem to remember someone posting somewhere in the 7lb range.

So that would be the new style then. My scale could be off a couple clicks.

EDIT: $125 shipped is an awesome price for it, the one I just bought was $220 out the door.

According to the WMS website the older ones weigh 7.2 lbs and the new ones 5.5lbs. In the same paragraph Randy says that the newer ones are included in cars later than the 01/05 production. That's why i've always wondered about mine and asked in this thread.

I once called and asked MINI USA but they did not know.
