I desperately need a brake master cylinder for my classic Mini this week. I'd accept a good used one or a new one. The part number is GMC227. It was used on Minis from November, 1985 until 1992 when they started using vaccum assist. I tried to order a new one from MiniSpares but they are out of stock for at least two weeks.

It is a dual master cylinder with the low fluid warning switch terminals mounted on the filler cap. It is characterized by a yellow band around the bottom and by the fact that its connections are of unequal size (the top one is 10MM and the other is 12MM).
