As of now, its just me and one dog in my single cabin. Pretty sure there is a couch in it.
@Eric and Winston let me know if you are still looking. I'm taking my puppy to help socialize her and having another dog staying there would be very helpful. Again its only a couch tho...

Yes, I have a 3 BDRM cabin that has 2 bunk beds 2 doubles and a master which I’ll be in. At the moment only one bed is spoken for. I’m not sure if the couch makes in to a bed.

I will be at the Dragon from Sunday the 24th to 1 May. If you need one of the 3 open beds please PM me.
Here’s how it works, everyone pays the same amount divided by the number of people for the day they use the cabin. Payment is due the day before you are taking off for home.

The cabin is in a prime location across the street from the log cabin. You can connect to the web from the cabin if you bring a laptop with you. The cabin was $180 a night last year, but I'm sure rates have gone up some. Cabin number is 469 if you check out the web site it’s just below the fire station a cabin or two.

I had to wait this long to put out feelers because I’ve been in a wheelchair the last 6 months after totaling my MINI. I’m at this time able to do limited mobility (walk for a short distance). Just drove my GP yesterday for the first time, but got it the week after my crash.

Fontana just called me and told me they had a few cabins available!

 

I have a double queen room booked in the lodge from the 26th through the 1st. My copilot ditched so the other bed is available if anyone is still looking to split cost per night.

 

So Fontana called and upgraded us to a Willows cabin, but made us turn in or room at the lodge so they could give it to people on their wait list, like they did us with a cabin. I guess that was fair, I thought I would have posted it here, but I guess the wait list is the way we got back into a cabin so it seems fair.

Can't wait to get to Fontana, it was 70 and sunny yesterday in Asheville, and mid to upper 70's this week. I guess we got out of Illinois just in time this past Saturday, we dodged the 3" of snow in northern Illinois that fell last night. Glad to be in North Carolina.

We have been on the waiting list for months, and reservations told me that we are 25th on the list!

 

I got into a cabin @ Fontana so I'm giving up a cabin at Off the Deep Inn (8 miles from Fontana on NC 28). Let me know if anyone here wants it before I release it back into the wild tomorrow .

Edit: Sorry. forgot to add that it's for Wed-Sun.

Cabin detail per Mr. Yates at Off the Deep Inn: Cabin #1 for 75.00 a night plus tax. This Cabin sleeps 3 people, it has a Queen bed and a twin bed. Covered front porch but it does not have a private back porch.

 

Well, I've held out til the last minute hoping for a miracle... but looks like my work schedule means no week at the Dragon yet again. Hope to come spend the day Wed then back to Atl.
