Breakfast restaurants in Robbinsville

The wife and will be staying at the Microtel in Robbinsville for MOTD.

Other than Mickey D's  , is there any restaurants that open early for breakfast (0530-0600), including Sunday morning?

Thanks in advance.

there is a new place called "our daily bread cafe and bakery" right around the corner for the Microtel and "everybody's restuarant" down the block. Not sure if they are open for breakfast though. The folks at Microtel might know.

Fontana will be having a breakfast buffet on Fri., Sat. and Sunday

Unfortunately they don't open till 0730. Wouldn't be able to make the Dragon in time to participate. Unless they are going to have early hours.

Thanks for everything you've so far, really great effort you have done to pull this off. Just think, in about a week it will go into autopilot and then you can relax. I've done what you have done, except it was for a group that collects antique flywheel gas engines and tractors.

You know, while I was searching for places in Robbinsville, I saw a favorable review for the Sweetwater that was dated just last week. Maybe they didn't close after all. One could only hope.

nope....I was there last week....they're closed:sad:

We ate at the Huddle House last year. It is on 129S, just south of 143,going toward 19, maybe 1/4 mile. We will defintely eat there again.

I believe Microtel supplies a breakfast. That is what I am counting on!

Yeah, my family wept when Sweetwater closed last summer... I was there one week, then went back a couple of weeks later and it was chained up (tax problems I think).

I stayed at the Microtel last year, the locals told me about a family restaurant

right in Robbinsville that had great food. Well, it did. I cant remember the

name of it, but if you head out of town on 129 you will pass a self-serve

car wash on your left. Right behind the car wash there is a road, follow that

road for about 200 yards or so and the restaurant will be on your left across

from a school. I forgot to say that you take 129 toward the Dragon not the

other way. Enjoy!

Although I hated to hear they closed, I'm not surprised. Last year I called in an order for several lbs of pork bbq for a gathering during MOTD. I called it in a week prior, then confirmed the morning of, but when I got there in the afternoon they didn't have any bbq left.

The Huddle House closed??? Awww, man!

Last year I went there for dinner on Wed night. 3 cops came in while I was there and ordered a few appetizers on their break. I picked up their tab and left before the waitress could tell 'em. I figured that it would be good karma for the weekend and it worked... no LEO problems at all on the entire trip!

Excellent work! They probably get enough harassment and scorning :sly: all day. I bet they really appreciated it. And who knows, you may have saved several MINIs their wrath!

I'm baking a few batches of Ex-Lax donuts, just for such an opportunity.

If "bad" karma is brown, then yes, you're right.

Post MOTD info for next year

We found a really good place for breakfast in Robbinsville. It's the Phillips Restaurant. I think they opened a 0700, seven days a week. Place was clean, service was great and fast, and the food was excellent. Prices were good also. If you go there you gotta try the Southwestern omelet.
