MKO presents: The 5th Annual MOTD Cigar Sampling Salon

All cigar and other LEGAL smokers take note:

This is the 5th straight year MKO has presented the Cigar Sampling Salon at MOTD. Yes, it's a milestone of sorts, given the state of the economy and all. As usual, we are a completely FREE event...all you need to bring are your cigars and other LEGAL smokes, for an informal evening of socializing on the Porch, April 29, right after the Welcome Dinner. For anyone wishing to try a great cigar [I have no bad ones], I'll have extras on hand, as well as lighters, cutters and matches. We'll all be sitting in the Porch rockers, on the front steps, or standing along the porch railing, from right after the Welcome Dinner ends, until whenever it is we decide to mosey on back to our rooms for the night.

Be sure to dress warmly, as the evenings get downright chilly at Fontana.

Any monies gathered from cigar-related items I sell [hats, Dragon-themed lighters, cutters, or Dragon-themed Bic lighter sleeves], or donations will be sent to help the Graham County Food Pantry.

So, come on outside after supper, sit a spell and smoke some fine cigars with me on the Porch. Leave all your stresses of getting to MOTD this year behind you as you unwind in a relaxed and smoker-friendly environment.

SEE Y'ALL ON THE PORCH, Wed., April 29!

Mind if we bring some beverages from another event happening around the same time?

Nope...you cannot smoke inside the Rec Room, but we usually sip and smoke on the Porch anyway when we have the Cigar Salon. This year, with the wine sampling going on inside, it just seems "right" to bring your beverages to the Porch and smoke, too.

All we ask is that all the participants clean up after themselves by using the available trash cans.

I'll be sure to join you all with my glass of wine from the Wine Tasting. What a great night, MINI Friends, Food, Wine and Cigars after a day in driving Heaven. Hard to beat that with a stick.

I'll bring my usual fare of some flavoreds, a variety of "normal" cigars and perhaps some cubanos for the "unitiated" to the Cigar Salon. They should go well with the vinos [and vice versa].

We aim to please! Just be sure to bring a jacket or a sweatshirt, because nighttime at the Dragon can be chilly.

Thanks to all who attended....

This was our 5th MKO Cigar Salon, and, thanks to our supporters, it will not be our last. In all, we raised about $50 to give to our charity, the Graham County Food Bank.

That said, we'll be seeing you next year, at MOTD #8, for the 6th MKO Cigar Salon, so be sure to get your stogies humidified NOW!

In the meantime, Cheers, and Be Safe!
