Just like last year, vdubdoug, rlnewby & I will be meeting up at the first Kentucky exit as you cross the Ohio River on I-75 heading south at 7AM Thurs. morning (May 1st) at the Cork & Bottle wine/liquor store. What route are you taking to the Dragon and what time do you hope to arrive? I'm leaving Indianapolis around 5am, so your meet time would be perfect for me, but I'm considering a detour into Fontana, such as via the Cherohala Skyway, and/or trying to make good time and arrive by 2ish, so I can do a little hiking on the Appalachian Trail on Thursday afternoon.

I edited the link - thanks for the heads up. Last year we went straight to the Dragon (quickest route - I-75 to Knoxville then 129 all the way to Deal's Gap). We got there somewhere around 1:30PM with a lunch break in Knoxville.
