I grew up in the city. I spent 36 of my XX years there..I've only lived in MD since '97.

I miss the Strip like mad, especially Penn Mac Co. and I miss WDVE radio.

BTW, the way Pittsburghers (southwestern Pennsylvanians in general) speak has actually been designated a "dialect" rather than an accent. Something about the actual structure of the speaking takes it from simply "accent" or regional anomaly into a formal "dialect", Cool, huh?

This will likely be the last year for MINI Monte Carlo Night at MOTD. We have worked long and hard to ensure that this years event is better than last years. We listened to everyones suggestions and made all the changes.
More Tables, Cooler & Bigger Room, Not Conflicting with other events, More Swag, More Prizes.....

The changes we made forced us to raise the fee to $40, our hope was that with a second successful year that we would gain even more support from sponsors to allow us to reduce costs again next year.

However, since the numbers are so low this year it is unlikely that we will continue to receive sponsorship dollars let alone increase those levels.
