Nah, you can keep polishing the existing one a little longer.

FYI:

Some patches have a iron-on adhesive backing to help with a quick install, but this one didn't take. Buy some fusing tape (aka No-stitch hem) from a fabric store, cut strips to fit on the back and iron your patch onto your shirt... no sewing required. I usually sew down the edges afterwards, but this one wound up on a front shirt pocket and I didn't want to sew the pocket shut.

Yeah, the iron-on backing costs more and since the patch sale is a fund-raiser, I try to keep the costs down. They are coated on the back though so the embroidery can't get damaged.

The first patch sale was last year and because many people bought patches from all the years they attended, we were able to raise $1,000 for Easter Seals. And although sales for the MOTD6 patch broke last year's record for the MOTD5 patch, due to a decrease in the total number of patches sold the proceeds for Easter Seals will be much lower this year.

About a week ago I hinted about a surprise Dragon swag item that I plan to have available at Fontana. And here it is...MOTD6 parade beads! The beads are in assorted colors and each strand has a plastic medallion with the MOTD6 patch design. Each strand is wrapped in a poly bag (no tangling!) I'll have these beads at Fontana for $2 a strand or two strands for $3.

Wear them at the Dragon Parade! Wear them at the parties! Hang them from your rear-view mirror!

I'm doing this to raise some additional funds to add to the patch sale funds in an effort to reach my goal of $500 for Easter Seals. No advance sales on these but I would like to get an idea of interest in them so I can figure out how many to bring to Fontana. So please post if interested and how many you'd want to so I can have an idea. Thanks!

Luv the beedz. Put me down for four...

You should get some matching ones without the medallion and sell them also (much cheeper...)... for those of us that want LOTS of beedz...

(btw... I know how to spell beedz... just cause I know some do-gooders will correct me).
