I'll be toting a selection from the Dunedin Brewery in Dunedin, FL. Likely to lean heavily on reds & darker, more full-bodied brews. Depends on what's available when the time comes...

I will have some Yuengling with me, but it won't be my primary swapping beer. I was going to bring some Erie Brewing Company RailBender Ale with me again since there was so much Yuengling floating around last year, but if there is more desire for the Yuengling, I'll be more than happy to bring that over the RailBender.

I'm bringing Church Brew Works beer. This is Catholic Beer from a somewhat historic church converted into a brewhouse. Awesome!

Lois(StLouieLo) & I will be bringing beer from Schlafly Microbrew (probably Pale Ale) & something from O'Fallon Microbrewery also. Both breweries are in the St Louis Mo area. Also a new microbrewery opened close to our new home. We may bring something from there also. More details on that later after we taste it!!!

track-toy, you and mielnicki are both looking to bring Church Brew Works. Might be best to contact each other to make sure you don't double up on everything.

acej80, I believe Jaydeestude is also bringing Yuengling. There are plenty of varieties for you both to bring some but you might want to check in with him.

Minigal, you and jasonsmf are both looking to bring Great Lakes. Check with each other to coordinate styles.

The beers page of the website has been updated and I've also added the list of requested beers.

Lots of breweries on the list now. Check it today to see what's coming!

I'll be bringing an assortment from two breweries here in Richmond: Legend and Richbrau.
Oh yeah, and some of Dominion's Oak Barrel Stout...an awesome dessert beer!

p.s.-Since my wife can't make it and I bought her a ticket, does that mean I can get twice as much beer??

Despite a rumoured appearance of the Capital Brewery brewmeister at the Dragon Brew Swap, I have seen no mention of that brewery on the BEERs page.

So, having said that, I plan on bringing along the Bavarian Lager and/or (if I can get my hands on some - i.e. it's available this year) the Blonde Doppelbock.

I take it you'll be keeping the Richbrau cold unless they now pasteurize their beer. I was there in September 2005 and they only sold unpasteurized cold beer. I've got one of their bottles here somewhere. Good stuff.

You should be able to ger a refund on the ticket you bought for your wife. PM Mark about it. Of course you could just keep the ticket and you'll get the glass she would have gotten.

Rick, its rumor no more. Kirby Nelson, brewmaster of Capital Brewery, will be joining us. He'll be joined by the brewmasters from the Great Dane Brewery and the Lake Louie Brewery as well.

That said I think you'll still have a market to trade Capital brews as they are the absolute best. I'm not sure how much Kirby is bringing but I'll ask and let you know.

Thanks, I'd appreciate it.

If need be, I can grab from another brewery...there seem to be quite a few around here, for some reason .

Personally, I'm a Stout guy, but I thought I'd bring something that would have more mass appeal.

Sweet! Now thats a top combination of brewmasters! Any chance of them putting on a basic client or Q&A session? Not sure how much interest there would be in that...

Man, I am so looking forward to this...Com'on May...

Well I assume the bottles they sell in the Krogers (grocery stores) around here are pasteurized...but I can't honestly say I've looked. They never seem to last long enough to go bad! Glad you like their stuff; the wife and I were there a month or so ago for her 10 year HS reunion and the beer on tap was excellent. I'll make sure to bring some bottles for you!

p.s.- I am totally taking her glass.

Well, we had no luck getting the Sweetwater Festive Ale. They only brew it one day a year, and they only made 3800 12 oz. cases this year.

So we picked up some Terrapin Big Hoppy Monster instead.

Time for a taste test or three.......

Here's a poster for the release of Happy Ending. Questionably safe for office viewing
