Helenblitz is on for Feb. 25th - 27th

I'm hoping I can come this year. I only live an hour away so I won't be staying at the hotel. But I've never been to a mini event, and was wondering when we get the information on the drives and vendors etc. Do we find that information after we get to helen that weekend? or will it be posted later?
Thanks

You are more than welcome in any vehicle!!! The more the merrier..
The information is posted for the schedule.. there are no vendors.. this event is a little bit different than most. Its about the love of your mini, and the mini people you know!!!! Yes of course cars are shown off.. but its more about the people!!!

Hello Race Fans,
As many of you know, we encourage people to bring their R/C cars to Helenblitz because during the middle of the afternoon let’s face it, there’s not a whole lot to do. The 55 or older crowd tends to slink off back to your room to catch a cat nap (you know who you are). But for the rest of us, it’s R/C playtime.
Jim, from the Atlanta Mini's club, and I usually bring our nitro r/c cars to play with, but I’m hoping to see new faces out there this year. Last year we had a couple folks bring their 1/8 scale electric Tamiya Mini’s and we got to have a race between the two of them. Jim brought his 1/10 scale HPI nitro Mini, and a beautiful 1/8 scale nitro Sepent F1 car, and I brought a 1/8 scale nitro OFNA DM-1
As much as I’d like create an actual r/c race for Helenblitz, it’s not worth the expense and trouble of creating an on-road race course when there’s only a few cars brought. With that said, the more interest I see, the bigger I’ll make the event. Since the cars brought are of varying scale and engine power over the last couple years, I’m leaning towards making this more of an R/C Drag Race between cones.
Now, with all that said, if you have an r/c car in your closet that would best be categorized as a shelf queen but needs some work to get it running, email me at: BCVikings94@gmail.com. I might be able to help you get it up and running. I really just want folks to come out and have fun. Tell me what you think and we’ll tweak the event to fit the interest.
