Bimmercode App

Regarding Rear Fogs as Brakelights:
Great, I got the opposite problem of some folks - I activated the rear fogs, cycled the ignition, then coded the fogs to act with brake lights, and only got the TOP of the main brake lights to work, instead of just the bottom like others experienced. I have a 2016 Mini Cooper S, 4-door hardtop. I used this exact coding in my attempt:
Activate Fog Lights:
3068 NSL_Verbaut = Verbaut
Code first, then cycle ignition, then restart Bimmercode for the below options
to show up
Then do the coding for fogs-as-brake-lights:
BDC_BODY
3065 LceLampMapping4, ED
Funktionen
MAPPING_BREMSL_2_L_OUTPUT
Switch to this
nsl_l (this is the rear fog light choice)
You need to do this for right and left. Above is for left,
For RHS just change the l to r
MAPPING_BREMSL_2_R_OUTPUT
nsl_r
So, I put it back to normal. It's more important to have the main, largest brake lights fully functioning, than to have some extra ones down low. Just throwing my experience and specific model into the conversation.Side note, I couldn't do my all-doors-unlock tweak either, as I absolutely do not have the "VAM_UNLOCK_KL15OFF_AFTER_PIA_AUTO_LOCK" option under 3040.

Just found out about Bimmercode, so what OBD adapter are you guys using ?
Central unlock when ignition off
Is it possible in Clubman S 2018 ? How do we know if we have the option under 3040 ? BTW without going into expert mode ?
Does *stu...* Chimes
Possible to make them stop, since I live in Quebec I know its freezing out there dont need the car to tell me...
Or anybody living in Quebec that has one ? :P

Hey folks - I just picked up my brand new cooper s hardtop. I love it but I’m a little frustrated by how the up and down steering wheel buttons work for changing radio stations. I’d like to just press it once to go to the next station, but you need to press up or down then press ok. Any way to code the car to make it just go to the next station (or song If you're streaming)? Also - any way to code full screen CarPlay?

In you’re streaming music through car play and press the up or down on the steering wheel button it shows the song name that’s currently playing on the hud or in the small display by the speedo. Then there’s arrows above and below so you need to press one or the other to move to another song. This is the first car I’ve had that doesn’t just go to the next or previous.

I guess nobody has worked out how to turn the rear arch sidemarkers/reflectors off? Sorry for the noob question, but is there a cheat sheet somewhere that I've just completely missed? I've gone through 10 pages here and caught the odd random tip on what to do with Bimmercode, but a pointer towards a full list would be appreciated.

Re cheat list the only one I've managed to find is an old one from one of the BMW forums - sorry but that still doesnt have what you are looking for!

Hi everyone.
I just got my veepeak OBDCheck BLE adaptor and the full versions of bimmercode.
I have 2015 MCS and it has LED front headlights with the LED alpha like LEDs... I always wanted to use my FOG front lights just with the LED alpa lights without headlights being ON... Is there a way in expert mode to code it?
Any info on that is welcome.. thank You!

Is there any way to restore settings back to stock if the original backup file has been lost? Or is there any place to find what all the factory settings should be for the BDC module? Spent many days/weeks trying to code US union jack lights for a US 2019 F56 halogen front/rear car with no luck. Finally got them to function correctly, but only with it throwing a red lighting malfunction error when you brake while the car is in motion. Put the factory lights back in and realized the stock settings backup in bimmercode was lost due to a new phone and not having thought to export the file. Tried to remember what all the stock settings were, but now I'm not sure what might have been changed in one of the many attempts to get the UJ lights working %100. The stock halogen lights now seem to have a flicker on startup, and throwing a right light malfunction warning with the headlamps on.. but the message clears when you hit the brakes. Went back and compared everything I could think of from left to right, and it all seems to be set to the same things, so I really can't see why only the right side is throwing the error. At my wits end, so any help or input to at least get the car back to stock working order is welcomed. Thank you
