MOTORN, you out there?

Have you started looking for a restaurant that will accomodate 40-45 MINIS and 50-60 people, within a reasonable time? Chick-Fil-A and Sonic were mentioned, but maybe some foreplay with the restaurant would facilitate the parking/ordering process. You are in charge, ofiicially,,, but this authority is for lunch logistics only,,,,don't let it go to your head !

145? Mine'll only do 136, teehee. Yes, I have tried.

Sounds like you and I are thinking on the same level. Heck, I even have the Survivor: Palau theme on there. Jessica got me into that show.

i am SO tired tonight. I didnt even have the energy to clean the 4 inches of snow from my car before driving home from the university... thinking about going to the dragon in just over a month is making me smile, but im beat tonight.

Altho i did get my new iPod Shuffle to compliment my 10 gig iPod and I really like it. i have to load on some good tunes now, instead of the random stuff that was thrown on there by itunes auto-fill. so now i have to decide which one im taking with to the dragon. both i guess.

can never have too much music, ESPECIALLY for a long drive down like this one.

the caravan grows

Greetings from Greenville OH. Please add one more mini to the Detroit / Dragon Caravan. I will be waiting at exit 68 Tipp City. From the sounds of it you won't be hard to miss. It will also give an oportunity for some nice pics. (better smile when you pass by)

Stefanie. Laura is a nice town known for its world fameous speed trap. When was the last time you had a Maid-Rite sandwich? I will have to bring you some.

We lived in a big farm house on Rt 49. Great place to grow up. Even more important than Maid-Rite sandwiches is Marion's Pizza. We pick up 1/2 baked ones every now and then when we go to visit my grandparents.

Back on topic (ish) - the Caravan is getting HUGE and I'm getting more and more excited.

got it thanks steve! i added times to all the places. so if we kind of stay with in the speed limit then we should be good. all stops are 10 min. (or less), but 30 min. for lunch and breakfast. the last thing is to find the place for lunch i think.

anyone sleeping in their car, or is it just gonna be me?
i need to find a place to park so i can sleep. anyone have a little open room at one of their campsites for a lonely red mini to sleep at night?

BTW, you can put me down as a maybey for the exit 135 stop. hopefully the maybey will dissapear in a few days... hehe

Explain to him that you are only talking about a mini rally with a ton of other people, most of them adults, some college aged and a few younger perhaps.

now, I dont know the particulars of your situation, but i will make a few assumptions anyhow. Explain how disowning you for something as wholesome and good natured as attending a mini event makes no sense. Its not as if you are talking about spending a weekend with that group of friends that your parents "just dont trust" or whatever.

my parents are like this too. you will eventually have to do something to make them realize that you are your own person, but dont push it!

good luck and all, though its probably futile...

My parents have no say now that I moved out, but while I was still at home they were against me returning since I almost totaled Sproggie in the October run... oops!
