Great to see all the pictures and links rolling in today.

Great desktops man.in.black, Thanks. Good sizes.

300spyderman, first time I have seen the mobileme gallery, it looks good. Nice garage, is that a full walnut storage system for the tools and detailing supplies. :)

Keep them coming. :)

Vinney, I have your shirt, hat and motoring badge, lunch?

Don

Sweet pix spyderman. Jon is a good guy -- maybe you are too. Maybe even I am -- even tho usually I mess up.

Great pictures, everyone! Really enjoyed meeting everyone and seeing the Minis, old and new.

Special thank you to all the folks involved in the planning and execution of the event. Also, a very special shout out to people who provided DaniLeo and I with assistance over the weekend, especially Teresa, Shelly and Vicki. ;)

Yeah, lunch! And anyone else who wants to join us -- this week? Jim's ??

MiniMaybee 08-10-2008 07:49 PM

OK I got back about 1:00 PM after a solo trip over the Western Dragon. It was a very nice run. Trailed a bunch of SUVs to Mt. Evans turn and then it was just me going down. A few bicyclists but some very nice open space. Top down, twisties and mountain vistas - nothing better.
Got the MINI washed and washed the Pilot too. Took a nap and unpacked so now to work in the morning. We had such a great time. I really hope everyone took away a good memory or two.
Speaking of memories - here are my photos on Flickr

Jim's, good idea start a thread over in MINI5280 zone!

Spent some time looking at everyone's albums, I missed some nice rides but I get to see them through your eyes. Thanks..... :)

Thanks for the escort home

Had to stop in Idaho Springs for some WINGS at the TommyKnocker. A little artichoke soup, too. Needed a little time just by myself.

Then a long, 4 hr. nap.

Thanks for being part of the group.

What a great weekend, all 1,764 miles of it! (...Not bad for a garage baby!)

Thanks to MINI5280 and Ralph Schump MINI for another fun year!!!
And Thanks to Heather and Nick for the car wash...A clean MINI is a happy MINI, with a happy owner!

We left this morning at 3:30 am to watch the sun rise on Mt Evans and then hit the Western Dragon on the way home. We ran in to a pod of 3 MINIs heading back to Oklahoma, but Just A Passenger was driving (while I napped a bit) and he is a little less of a spirited driver, so they pulled away and were gone. I hope they got home safely.

We rolled to the garage at 6:28 pm, unloaded the MINI, picked up the dogs.
Then it was time to wash a very (unhappy) grubby, bug splattered MINI!!!:eek2:

...All is right with the world now that Cousteau is clean and shiny again, which leaves me some time to post some of our pictures...

It was nice to see old friends and met some new ones!
See you next year!

Time to sleep now....

Glad we ran in to you on the way. We were going to try and chat with you on the walkies and discovered one was in the boot and one was in the glove box...locked. Hope the wings were good! We took naps too, gave RUDEBOX a bath and tucked him away for the night. :) We had such a great time and will come up even earlier next year. Thanks for everything!

Howdy all, the link to our MITM 3 pictures can be found HERE!

We've only got about 65 worth keeping, but enjoy. Here's a few favorites:

Here are a few of my photos, including the group panoramic (with all the cars included, don't worry black car at the end! I had you covered!)

http://www.flickr.com/photos/kigipho...7606661749280/

The full size image of each photo is behind there as well.

I'll have more later as well, though on a different site. Also probably one more pano of the group, I think one or two cars that got in right at the end are not in that pano.

Thanks everyone for a great event!

I'll second everything Mirrim said, and add my thanks to Teresa, Vicki, and Shelly, the WWW's and all for helping; it made our first MITM event ever so special. The pictures are wonderful!
