new 2002 mini cooper s owner
misc updates.
- switched out the old 60547 (stock size belt that works with 15% pulley for the 60535 which works way better with the 15% pulley. hits full boost now. old one was stretched and losing abour 2-4 lbs of boost up top.
- removed driving lights. they never worked and were pretty beat up.
- stiffened rear sway bar to full stiff and loosened coilover dampeners. rides a lot more compliant but still turns well.
- moved into a single car garage town house (YEAHHH!) so now I have a work space!

Working in my (new to me) small garage!! Being a single car, the MINI fits just fine with room to spare. With the subie, it is a bit tight but it is still amazing compared to the last 7 years I have been garageless!

just found this thread about your build it's looking awesome. if your looking for a local club check out DCMM (http://www.dcmetrominis.org/) and also check out C3M both great local clubs. we have people in both clubs and it couldn't hurt to be part of two )2 always better then 1)
rattle canned the mirror caps and Rota RBs. The wheels were oxidized and clear coat was coming off due to all season round driving without access to a hose or regular cleaning of the wheels. I am undecided if I really like it or not. If I decide I like them, I will redo them (this was my first attempt).
