I'm trying to DIY the hood out of my mini, replacing the one that has hail damage on it.
I consider myself good with tools, so I think it's a process I can complete.

Where is the best place for such a part, already painted in chili red (color code 851)?
(I could be wrong, but I think the OEM code for the hood is 41009626977)

Mine is 2024, but I think they use the same part since 2017.
