Dash Cam Wiring vs Air Bags Questions

I'm finally getting around to installing front and rear dash cams in my 2018 F60. For the rear camera wiring, it would seem that I can route the wire across the headliner to the right A-Pillar and my first question is:
  • If I take the wire across the right-side A-Pillar and hide it behind and under the joint at the place indicated in the photo below, will that interfere with an air bag? When I look at the parts in realoem.com, it appears that there is no air bag that goes down the A-Pillar in the 2018 F60 – see the attached diagram.
Then I plan to route the wire through the door seal to the B-Pillar. The second question is:
  • Can I take the wire across the B-Pillar at the place indicated in the other photo below without it interfering with the curtain above. Again, it would seem from the diagram that a wire there would not interfere with air bag deployment.
I've ordered a Viofo a139 Pro package, and this model has a much thinner rear camera wire.

I would be grateful for any insights and help.

Right-side A-Pillar (2018 F60) – I want to pass a wire at this connection point in the trim.

Apparent location of air bags.

Well, I answered my own question about the A-Pillar by taking the trim off. The airbag does indeed “descend” farther into the pillar than is indicated in many diagrams, including ones from Mini that I found online. So, contrary to what a few YouTubers have shown when installing a dashcam in a Mini, the added wires need to be run down to the bottom of the A-pillar on the windshield side, not across the top of the A-pillar trim. I tethered two wires to the harness at the windshield side, visible in the attached photo. Hope this is helpful to anyone else planning to do their own dashcam installation that includes a rear camera.

How did you remove the A-Pillar trim? I can't find any how-tos for Countryman's that do not have the Airbag badge and screw, like yours. Thanks!
