Not pictured: 8x 100 litre water barrels added for ballast. Weight of trailer confirmed at truck scales: 1530 kg. Hybrid towed it from Richmond to Nordel CVSE to the top of Cypress mountain and back to Richmond.

Game on. Trailer brake controller next (trailer pictured uses surge brakes)

How is the trailering going?

I'm thinking about doing the same stealth hitch to pull a Happier Camper, similar weight to what you are testing here. European spec says the hybrid can tow 1500kg, so I'm thinking we're good?!

Fairly extensive discussion on the facebook hybrid group that the European model is not type approved for towing anything, so...I don't know.

Blackstone analysis of my transmission fluid after about 1000 km of towing about 1500 kg... Roll on summer camping!
