Ricky was ordered April 12th. Hit the body shop Friday and is through assembly and in QA today. So now waiting for the boat. I have to run Lucy down to see what they will do on trade. They offered 11K sure unseen. She is a 2013 JCW Countryman with 95K. She is starting to show her age, stripes need redone, and a reverse sensor got poked inside the bumper at some point. Two hour drive to the dealer but COSTCO is next door which helps the trip. 😎

Ricky Made it to the port at Zeebrugge today. now just need a ship to get him to Baltimore.

Went to the dealer today so they could scope my trade for final value. Also ordered mud flaps and mini Advanced Car Eye 2.0. 20% off the part’s, but the installation on the car eye is 2x the purchase price. But I know it will look professional and not be cobbled into the wiring.

Came home and ordered weather tech floor and boot mats.

Yes I picked that name when we got Blue the 1st Countryman. Guess applying for a legal name change would be good.

4th time doing the wait. Allot longer this time. Ricky is biding his time at the port right now.

 

Prepping for arrival. Weathertech front-rear mats along with boot mat arrived today. Not sure why Mini stopped offering the weathertech mats with logo. Just being able to pull them out and dump them in the winter is soooo nice.

 

Ricky is on the Orion Highway. Arrives Baltimore July 18th.

 

FYI there’s now an Advanced Car Eye 3.0. Also, there are cleaner integrated solutions out there, in my opinion. For example:

They have the 2.0 version in. Seeing if I cannot pickup and order 3.0.

would prefer the mini system since front and back are integrated to car and the motion system will start recording. App fro 3.0 looks much better than 2.0. They did not shoe the 3.0min the online store only the 2.0.
