Question about jacking up the F60 Countryman

Hi guys, I am thinking about doing a front to rear tire rotation on my 2019 JCW F60. If I were to jack up high enough under the front jacking point, would the rear wheel also lift off the ground? That's what I do on my R56 but I am not sure if this procedure would work on the F60. Perhaps someone has already tried this on the F60.

Honestly, I'm not sure, but it wouldn't matter if you used jack stands...which you should!

Most of the old wisdom has vanished into the wind. Here's a MINI jacking lesson from a long gone poster. His blog is still worth a visit. Click on the link and scroll down to "How a stud lifts a MINI". My 'stud' has dozens of jack tracks on both sides.

Done this on the R60 which is obviously a bit different although similar in size/weight. Really not a comfortable situation with my floor jack as the front gets too high to get the back far enough off the ground. Since my rotation includes changing to seasonal tires it isn't an issue to move the jack. With a high lift strong floor jack you are probably ok and some stands.

As for the F56 similar to the R56 in that the whole car lifts up on one side and tire rotation is fast.

Stands always! When rotating tires you should go front to back and diagonal so lifting one side alone is counter productive.
