Pics of the wife's new 2020 JCW CTM

As promised, here are the pics of the wife's new 2020 JCW CTM. She is coming out of a 2017 R56 JCW, so we are stoked at the performance of this thing, straight up beast. The wife hasn't named it yet, but we are close. We do like the "mistake" center stripe, made the dealership put on the side stripes as well (since we paid for them)...We are both VERY pleased with the way this car looks. We debadged the rear (removed the JCW emblem) to give the tailgate a little balance...all in all, a great looking car. Next up will be tinting the windows...

Gratz, it looks great! Funny all three of us that recently took delivery got all black trim and wheels. I don't evenlike black wheels but thought the 19" wheels looked terrible for 2020 the way the outer rim was scalloped. it is some on the black wheels, but hidden by the color. But, I always prefer gray wheels on all cars, and will change mine with the summer set. I got the All seasons on my Black Wheels.

Never get all seasons from the factory. You get stuck with the 130 mph speed limiter whenever they are optioned. Just buy the all seasons once you take delivery, swap them with the stock run flats and you have a brand new set of run flats to put back on when you trade it for the next one.

130 mph limit, is this an issue for 99.999999% of drivers?

If you're buying a JCW or M car, probably. It does suck when you do get some wide open highway runs and the car just stops going faster for no reason at all. My Countryman doesn't get much highway use but when I have, it cruises nicely at 100-120 mph. I can only imagine the new JCW is even better.

Not for me. Top speed is meaningless. It's all about the torque.

The 2020 Countryman's top speed is 149 according to Mini USA website update. The Pirelli P7 All Season tires that come on the 2020 JCW Countryman are V rated to 149.

All US model BMW vehicles equipped with All Seasons from the factory do not get option 840, the 155 mph speed limit and instead default to the 130 mph limit. Tire speed rating doesn't matter, you must have the performance tire option equipped from the factory to get option 840. I was told the same holds true for Minis but if you have information to the contrary, that's great. My F31 had all seasons from the factory and would hit 130 mph and just sit there. My E70, E82 and G01 would all blow by 130 without issue and all had option 840 in the build sheet.
