What a beauty!! Congrats!! The BRG is a color I had never considered but the more and more I see it I wish I had gone with it. Ah well...maybe my next MINI.
Thank you! At night/ in the evening, the color looks so deep, it's almost black. I am so glad I did not mix in the chili red.
I am having so much freaking fun driving this car! 171 miles and 3 days old. LOL

Beside the driving, were able to to figure out how and where everything is on the center console? Did your MA explain everything the day you got your MINI?
Nope. Not their fault though, I had to split the dealership and get to a meeting.
I cannot find a couple of things:
parking assist
garage door opener
can't figure out the kick open option for the tailgate
there are 2 "buttons" that are blanks to the left of the headlight ****.
We picked up our 2017 All4 S last night. Manual Transmission, Chili Red, with JCW interior and Exterior Package. Black Line trim rings over the Headlights and Tail lights. 18" Rims, Black Stripes on Hood and Tailgate. LED Headlight Package, HK Speaker System, Heated Stock seats and NO, Gasp, Folding Mirrors...[]
I thought yesterday was just going to be a test drive for my wife, who hadn't been able to drive a Manual Trans Countryman since Automatics were all around, but no manuals.
She ended up loving the car so much, esp. the newer transmission feel and shifting compared to her 2012 S, that we bought it even though she was losing Lounge Leather Seats and Folding Mirrors. We had already driven enough 2017s and 2018s to know we loved the suspension on the New Countrymans, so no surprises there.
Great rate on the Financing and a very good price on our Trade-In, the 2012.
Side View. We lucked out with it having Roof Rails as well. My Clubman doesn’t have them.
The R60 had Black Rims, so this was a nice change since the car has enough Black on it all around with Roof, caps , and Black lens trim to boot.
Yeah, the rear fog light is used in Europe the MA told me.
Did you get a pair of MINI FindMate? How does it work?
We've all been joking in another thread that MINI felt bad about all the features that the X1 has, which they've stripped from the Countryman, that they gave us FindMate as a cover-all consolation prize. They seem useless.
I only have front fogs. I'm not sure any of us (in North America) get rear fogs, so the bottom button is not a real button anyhow.
The JCW does not seem to have the fronts as an option. There is an intercooler where the driver's fog light would go - so I'm assuming they are not available as they'd block flow.
Yeah, the find mate things are useless. I did not unwrap them and I have no idea where I even put them!
I checked bimmer.work and my production date (completed) shows 11/2/17 (today!!). I've called MINI USA and originally it was 11/2 but has been 11/3 for the past week or so.
11/3 could be a big day for me. MINI completes production and delivery of iPhone X!! Its my Christmas!!
I'm still waiting. My baby girl just arrived in CA today!! Anybody have any idea how long the distribution center processing takes? Then 7-10 days on a truck headed north. I'm so close.

Mine spent 3 days in the Port Hueneme VPC before they put it on a truck to Denver.
Nice! Once it gets into the ocean and out of local tracking range, use the Forecast Route button and zoom out until only your boat is visible. You can still watch the progress this way. Congrats!
In case anyone else is traveling on the Don Quijote, I thought I'd share this photo - screenshot from the Panama Canal Gatun Locks Webcam yesterday. I got lucky checking location of the ship in the morning and saw it was about to enter the canal... so I sat online and watched the feed for an hour!
