Yep! They installed the driving lights. It is supposed to be a 5 hour job and it took them 2 1/2 days. Glad I didn’t have to pay for the full time they spent on it. I do like the lights!

You certainly have more patience than I do! lol.

Once at the dealer, I will want to get it off the lot and into my hands. I don't want their grubby mits touching my Rebel!

My boat just docked!

My MA is sending their numbers to me this afternoon. I am curious to see what interest rate they will quote... I am also working directly with a bank to see what I can possible get there.

I am thinking it will be late next week that my Rebel is ready to pick up and come home. Fingers crossed! That said, what is the average dock to dealership time?

What dealership is yours headed to? Mine is going to Mt Laurel NJ.

Hoping the truck get's there soon. My understanding is that for sold cars, the process is a bit quicker than a normal offload/ distribution.

Got mine there too. From port arrival to arrival at dealership, about 4 business days.

My estimate delivery date says 10/23. I wonder if this is really accurate.

Hmmm - Mine still says en Route although the boat has left the port. The record on the shipping site says "Liner Release" and "Customs Release" with yesterday's dates. I guess the VDC checks the cars in and through one at a time.

The MINI Owner's lounge had a delivery estimate of 10/7 for my car and it arrived at the dealership 10/6. I picked it up on the 7th. So the timing is pretty close to the estimate. It sat at the VDC (Baltimore) for 1 week.
Congrats on your pending arrival.

Ok. Thanks. I sent an email to my MA. Maybe he'll have a more accurate date.

I was in Seattle when I got Blue so she made the canal run. I still have the pictures I screen captured of her ship moving through the locks.

Anyone else sailing on the Don Quijote (leaves Zeebrugge on Monday)? I hear the lounge on the lido deck serves Belgian beer and motor oil...

My MA did confirm it's arrival at port and said they should expect it in a day or two. I went back online to track my MINI. The estimate date for delivery was 10/23. Now I see it's 10/22. Nice of MINI to mess with the dates.

My estimated date of delivery at the dealer's was 9/19. Didn't arrive until the 22nd and had to wait that long weekend to pick it up on the 25th. Hope you get it soon

My status changed to at the VDC with a dealer arrival date of the 27th. Got my financing in order, so very soon, I will have the JCW home.

I also have the vanity plate picked out and the form created other than the title #.

Picked mine up today. Put over 70 miles tooling around, getting to know the car and loved every minute of it!!

MINI of Mt. Laurel was wonderful to work with.

Here is our Rebel. Could not be happier (well, perhaps we can be, but this little gem is darn near perfect!) I'll update the other thread with glamour shots. This is at the dealership right before I drove away.

MINI of Mt Laurel is Fantastic to work with. I drove farther to get to them, but would do the same again in a heartbeat. Truly top notch customer service.

What a beauty!! Congrats!! The BRG is a color I had never considered but the more and more I see it I wish I had gone with it. Ah well...maybe my next MINI.

Called 1866AskMINI and spoke with a rep today. Boy they are SUPER helpful!! I mean a bit over the top helpful and tried to estimate an ETA for me.

Mine is currently in production. I submitted the order form on 10/18 and it went into production on 10/19 (helps to be Priority 1 and the dealer to have an open slot!). Estimated production completion was 11/2 yesterday but now its pushed to 11/3 today (bummer). The phone rep estimates I should be able to take possession of it here in CA by early to mid December (just in time for Christmas).

In the meantime I will be checking these boards daily.
