Say, another question... It may be obvious, but... I got my old spoiler off, installed my new third brake lamp and put my new 'Cooper S' spoiler on. My question is, I should seal up the new third brake light, right? With some silicon or something?
This is kind of urgent, I need to drive it to work on Monday. I am leaning toward just doing it anyway to be safe, but what do you guys think?

the third brake light is notorious for leaking. I had mine replaced under warranty at 15k miles.
I wouldn't silicone it in place but I would lay down a bead of silicone, let it dry, then install the light to further add in sealing it. gluing it in place with silicone would be hard to remove.

Or instead of silicone you could put a thin layer of that closed cell foam weatherstrip tape and let the brake light seal on that. I believe it already has some weatherstrip around the perimeter of the light but a little more can't hurt. It would have to be a really thin layer like 1/8", or maybe 1/4" at the most. Even at 1/4" though you might have trouble getting the light to fit into the now much smaller opening.

I talked to Joel and we are not going to offer any custom Wing Tips like you want. The labor and cost ratio would be too high. However you could PM me for an unpainted one and once you get it have a local shop do the work.

Joel gave me the history, that you got the 2nd one every made after seeing it on another MINI even before he was using the molds to make them with. You got a beta unit at a beta price.
interesting. I saw pics on several cars before I even contacted him so I couldn't possibly have # 2. Perhaps he's just telling you that to shut you up.
Oh, and your new animated banner is obnoxious...congrats on showing good taste (again).

I'll take Joel's word over yours.
I was thinking of you when designing the new banner, good to see I got it right for you.
PS, for the new NAM members PGT and I have a not so nice history of trying to see who will have the last word. I guess we'll see how long he hijacks this thread.

I must have missed the announcement where you bought NAM
It is described as "one of our new products, and he describes composition of the product and design functions", in the same fashion as Pete at M7 does, and I have not seen it for sale anyplace else for that matter......
