2012 Countryman - Fuel Gauge always Showing Empty/Flashing
I've been trying to fix this car for my mom for some time. The gas gauge suddenly started showing empty and the pump icon flashes.
-It has a code 2755(Fuel Level Sensor), and a 27AC (Fuel tank Ventilation, Minor leak)
- I ohm tested the old sensor, and order another pump assembly to compare. New pump ohmed the exact same so I'm pretty confident the sensor is fine.
The only thing I can think of at this point is a short for the fuel sensor somewhere going back to the cluster. However, Given the low miles, and nature of a short It would seem like others would have had this problem? Any Pointers from here?

I was getting an erratic fuel level on my 2016. Ended up replacing the whole pump with the level sender and never had the problem again. For ours it would just show full all the time which was equally as dangerous.
I ended up replacing the fuel pump assembly and the gauge is still showing empty, I'm fairly confident it's a short somewhere. I'm trying to source a electrical diagram if anyone has one? I'll update the thread if I find a fix.
