Clicking coming on brake pedal ON and OFF near idrive

Another one of my 'symptoms' from putting in the andream/carplay/mmi system in my 2012 countryman...
When I depress the brake pedal and release, I get a click/clunk sound on both press and release coming from the shifter area/idrive area.
I did remove screws and move stuff around and put wiring under that housing and clearly did something to upset my car.

Another user said this is normal, but, I do not remember it being so loud!

video of the click here-with my foot going on and off of brake pedal:

It must be the shifter interlock that prevents you from shifting out of park without pressing the brake, but yeah, it shouldn't be that loud. Perhaps one of the wires got in the way or something?

I assume you can't shift without the brake pressed and can with it pressed?

It all works as it should, and yeah I need to press brake to move out of park...when driving the click goes away only happens in Park-as its designed too, just weird it got way louder.
