Bilstein B12 Pro Kit vs BC Racing BR Coilovers?
Hi guys, just trying to get some information comparing these two setups, Bilstein B12 Pro Kit and the BC Racing BR Coilovers. I've been looking for pictures of a Countryman on Bilstein B12 setup and have not yet been able to find any in my search for pictures. At the moment I can't make up my mind on which one I want to go with for my Countryman S, if the Bilstein B12 kit doesn't go low enough, I might just go for the BC Racing Coilovers, but I am not familiar enough with them to know if they are reliable, durable, and have long life. Thoughts between these two setups would be very helpful in helping me make a decision.
I have BC Racing "DS" coils which are like BR with more of a track like valving. I do use the car for just a few track days a year. They have a surprisingly good ride on the street with the standard 7k/8k coils. However..... I think for a street car the Bilstein are a better choice being conventional struts. Coilovers do not have upper strut bearing/bushings. The road noise due to no rubber isolation between strut and body is considerable and somewhat annoying. Sometimes I consider selling them and going to the Bilstein setup.
