Question What kind of deal did you get for your JCW Countryman

So, I'm about to pull the trigger and order a fully loaded JCW Countryman. I actually trust my dealer, which is really hard for me to say. He's a great dude and seems very honest, patient, and sincere. But I'm looking at about $7,000 down, 36 month10k miles at $400 per month. We got some different payment options. I got $2,060 off from the dealer, and another $1,000 from USAA.

I guess what I'm asking is if there is any more room to shave off on the price of this car? MSRP is $45,900. and I plan to keep the car until the bottom rusts out, but I live in Long Island, so that might be so long lol.

Seems like there are no incentives for the JCW!

This may depend on where you live and how many dealerships are around you. Obviously in highly dense areas, you may expect a few $k off MSRP whereas in areas w/ only 1 dealership you may have to fork over MSRP.

I happen to live in a highly dense area and was able to get about $3500 off just to give you 1 data point.

I live in Long Island, so I contacted about 15 or so dealerships in NY, NJ and CT. My preferred dealership gave me $2060 + USAA. I gave the other dealerships the same figures to see where I'm at. Only one so far emailed me back with 1 dollar below the monthly payment. Looks like to me that I'm close to a flat deal.

Now I'm looking at a $42k fully loaded JCW CM...Rebel Green with Black Stripes. I'm getting excited!

if they can't give you any additional direct savings then maybe look into accessory add-ons. things like rally lights, wheels, striping, floor liners, roof racks.. ect don't cost a dealership much, but can be pretty pricey retail. when i bought my '12 i did this and the dealer was pretty responsive to the idea and it gave us a whole 'nother round of negotiation after he claimed to hit the bottom.

I bought this with 20K miles on it for $24K last year. Still had warranty left to address a few things so I'm glad in that respect. Still looking for stripes for the rear, which oddly enough, DOESN'T say COUNTRYMAN on it. It does have the John Cooper Works 'surfboard' logo, though. Should I stripe the hood, too?

Bought a Rebel Green JCW with Red top/stripes Iconic trim with 1250 miles for 34,000 a few months ago. Older couple bought it, hardly drove it, had oil changed at one year with less than 1000 miles on it, and only kept it 1.5 years...obviously they took a bath when the traded it for a Lexus. Lucky for me, I saw it parked in the back of the Mini Dealership before they cleaned it up (curb rash on one wheel, front spoiler scratched...dealership fixed both problems). Began negotiating, and a few weeks later, it's mine! Have nearly 7000 miles on it now...very happy, very lucky.

We just had a local shop so some custom hood stripes on ours, the back had too much going on already with the Countryman lettering

NICE car! I prefer bonnet stripes. Those without look somehow "too fat and soft", as silly as that sounds...
