3500 miles on my new Countryman S All4. The dealership I go to (and love) installed a Burger tuner for me yesterday. They could not get the check engine light/sensor to go off. As it turns out mine is the first 2016 Countryman they have installed the Burger tuner in. I had to take the car home (Labor Day weekend) and now I'm waiting for the dealership to contact Burger on Tuesday. Car drives ok, but it is not right. Weird at idle, stutters in first under load from a dead stop. Few stutters at higher speeds/loads. Basically baby-ing it till I figure this out. I know the dealership will do right by me and make this thing purr but they were really confused yesterday as to why they could not get around the sensor and code causing my check engine light. Anyone have any experience, advice, hints etc. that I could maybe share with them on Tuesday? Thanks!
I installed a JB+ on my 2016 CM and it was fine. A week later I out in my Manic Stage 2. The 2016 does have some cosmetic and software changes. I have tried two different devices to improve my throttle response D1 and SB and neither of them work. The 2016 CM doesn't like it

I thought your Manic tune could change throttle response, am I wrong?

@Mariokart so you plugged the Burger right in and had no issues? no codes, no sensor faults? Do you have a 2016 S all4? Crazy. My car is being really wonky with it installed.Originally Posted by MarioKart

The Manic tune does change the throttle about 10%, but I think the CM ALL4 needs more because of the weight and all the parasitic loss of being AWD. My latest re-mapping, has increased the throttle response even more. This has resolved my off the line lagginess.Originally Posted by Minnie.the.Moocher

I plugged it right in and no problems what so ever. It could be possible that the device is defective. Could you mail in back and get new one?Originally Posted by mattyb13

Thanks @Mariokart. Thats the beauty of having the dealer manage the Burger situation on my new Countryman! They called Burger direct today to see what can be done. Stoked to get this thing in and running right so I can see what the Burger feels like in my car.
