R60 Lamin-X tail lights?
Lamin-X tail lights?
Thinking about ordering the gun smoke lamin-x for my '13 countryman but was wondering if anyone has had previous experience installing the Lamin on a countryman? Seems like it may be a tough install considering the shape of the lights.
Thanks
Thanks
Hey HAZ,
I have done many tail lights on many different model vehicles, and I would recommend against using any sort of tint/wrap/cover... It is very difficult for them to shape correctly and usually end up with bubbles, shmears, etc... Also, if you look closely you can see where the material gets cut and tucked into the corner of the housing...
I recommend you go to your local body shop and have them do a 50%CLEAR/50%BLACK paint job on them, which comes out much cleaner, more uniform, etc...
It should not cost more than $100-125-150 for both tail lights. Take a look at mine in this thread, I am very happy with the results. Good Luck!
