Finding a spot in the firewall

As anyone installed aftermarket subwoofers or anything that attaches to the battery? I am going to be installing air suspension soon and was just looking at the firewall. The only spot I have found is where the wire harness comes through but looks pretty tight. Curious if people have made their own spot or found something else?

Can you provide details on the air suspension if you know them yet?

Thank you. That's what I was assuming people used but didn't know!

I am using airlift performance 3p management and have bought the bags off of a friend that had an sti. I'm using old coilover mounts from my previous r56. The only companies I know of that make exact fit bags are k sport and airrex

The pass-thru that MINI recommends for installing their LED Daytime Running Lights. There is a rubber grommet covered by a hard plastic cap. The rubber grommet has two tabs sticking out that you can cut off showing a passthru to the inside of the car. The following is from those instructions.

Also, the following video at time of 4:36 shows the grommet and the plastic cover.

+1 TJank hit it right on. Should fit a pretty nice size gauge wire.
