New to the Mini world R60 CM S All4

Hello everyone! From Utah, have always wanted a Mini but never pulled the trigger until this one came in on trade at the dealership I work at. I love it! I'll post pics when I get them uploaded.

Have a few questions, I am going to mod it.

I have ordered the NM aircharge pipe, discharge pipe, catback exhaust, torque arm inserts and turbo heat shield. How difficult is it to install the pipes on my own with not much under the hood experience?

I have spoken a bunch to Mario Palza, that dude is awesome! Ordered his downpipe, and am going to do the stage 2+ tune with him. I will post pics and videos once I have everything uploaded! Can't wait to be a part of the Mini community!!

-Chris

Love the color combo.

The only thing I think would be better off left for a pro to install is the catback and possibly the DP, start with the piping and see how it goes, if you feel comfortable keep going and tackle the rest.

Dont forget to get a good airfilter first!!

Great color combo. I need to do the heat shield. I'm melted scoops on my Clubbie and keep popping the wings on my Mini hood emblem on my Countryman.

Any pics of the garage? With or without the car in it? Sounds like a cool look.

So... I installed the "air charge" pipe last night, driving today I feel like it has for sure lost it's pulling power?? Is something wrong or does it take some time to adjust to the air flow?

Sounds like you're getting things done pretty quickly on your new CM! I'm sure you'll enjoy it once you get it back. Be sure to let us know how it feels once you get it back. That garage is pretty awesome as well.

You're welcome! That is hard. I usually just name my animals/cars after Italian names since I'm Italian. I'm sure it'll come to you.

Very nice! Definitely looks like it fits well on the car. I like the decal on the rear too, "Think young."

So I picked the car up yesterday with everything said and done, took it for a little drive with the sps on mapC and holy crap is it better!!! Shifts so smooth, pulls hard out of corners, and sounds amazing!!! I can't wait to take it up in the canyons near by!!!

You're welcome and that's a great motto. I always tell myself that with the older I get, I will make sure I still know how to have fun and have a good sense of humor. Glad the car is feeling great and enjoy!
