2015 CM Base Are DRL's in the Headlights

According to some websites and the dealers, on the CM base without fogs, the DRL's are the headlights on during the day. On my mom they are not one, and they say there is a setting for them. Cannot find it in the settings.

Do you think the car needs a SW update for this to work?

thanks

Ben

I don't really understand your question, but...

The base R60 Countryman without fog lights uses the top half of the fog light housing as its DRL. I believe if you have automatic lights and have them on that setting, your DRL's are on if the light sensors for the automative headlights don't deem them ncessary. The automatic setting is one turn below off on the lights.

Hi
No fogs, which my mom was fooled by the dealer thinking there was ones.
just the parking light. no setting for DRLS in the BC. had the dealer look of it, none.

Dealer does not want to bother to find out. My mom really feel more comfortable with DRL'S and she is older. I feel they are safety too.

anyway, yes she has auto headlights, but NO!! DRL'S. WEIRD AND NOT ONE CAN HELP HER AT THE DEALER NOR MINI CUSTOMER SERVICE AS WELL. ANYONE.

How many times and in how many different threads are you going to ask this same question?

as many times as I fricken want...if your mom was terminally ill, you would walk on feathers and do summer salts to make her happy....

looking for an answer...

Sorry, bad times. trying to get some sort of DRL for my mom to feel safe. Older people get on one thing, and I am trying to help her.

She could turn on the headlights manually. Low beams are brighter than DRL's, and the rear lights will be on as well. Seems even safer to me.
