R60 Bluetooth

Hello everyone,
Just purchased a 2012 Countryman S (non-ALL4), and I'm absolutely loving it (and this is from someone that switched from a BMW 7 Series, but thats another story
)
Anyway, I know this is probably a stupid question, but the model I purchased does not have the Bluetooth option. So I guess this means that the controls on the steering wheel (the phone button and the voice button) are pretty much useless? Just wondering what the point was of having it there if the car doesn't have BT.
Other than that, it's a joy to drive, and fitting in tight parking spots is a real joy

Welcome.
If you enter your VIN here you can view the standard options as well as the optional equipment in your Mini. Maybe it will provide some additional insight. Of course the dealer can print it off as well.

Bluetooth was an option from the factory, I can't be added for the countryman as in retrofit. There is a universal one and a headset one.
