R60 Who likes this one? Too much?
Bram, you have to put it in context. This is done in the Steampunk style. Not for everyone, but if you understand the style, you see it differently.

Steampunk is an exaggerated style of 1800's 'Industrial/Science' genres. Like, what it would look like inside of the submarine in Jules Verne's classic 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.
Steampunk uses bronze, brass, wood, and gears, coupled with exacting details.

I like the interior, especially the baseball stitched seats. Those are awesome. Not sure about the exterior. I'm not opposed to wire wheels, and I get why they are gold, but I think they'd look better in chrome or polished stainless.

it seem the interior is not 100% finished to me, they did almost all the interior but left out the seat belts, center console and all the switch in stock color ???
I love the interior, but the exterior leaves something to be desired. The wheels do not work for me, nor does the copper strip down the side. Why not do the paint in copper with antiqued brass accents with some type of machined mesh style wheels in the same finishes?
I appreciate the art of steampunk but...
1) the wheels should have an exaggerated "gear" theme, not wire wheels;
2) what's with the cutout in the bottom of the seat...what's going to happen in there...it's too close to my "concerns".

I like it. I have an image of it in my Evernote folder where I am considering different stripes. It is Steampunk, and I'd never own this personally, but I do like that thin line along the door handles. My CMS will be white and I've been debating on how to do something on the side, and a black stripe would be nice if the door handles were black, but given the comfort access system allows no options on the door handles, I won't be doing what this Mini has.
I can admire something I'd never personally own, and I admire the creativity and thoroughness of this Mini. Well done!

seats don't need internal gears...
ugh, but then again, i am NOT a fan of the steam punk style, i think it's silly as all get out.
gears for gears sake is like having fake vents all over your car if you ask me
