No...no....no...r53/r50 was built from 2002-2006 hardtop....and is generationaly different...an odd nolt, nut, antenna, etc might fit, but 97% is different....different era...different designers, different underpinnings....different motor....think i covered it!!!
I think he meant the R56? the second generation? Such as the brake rotors, brake pads, air intakes, fuelcaps, etc etc so on. Which are the items that are same??

I don't know. The original post was pretty specific about R50-55... Until OP comes back and sheds more light on why and what parts he / she wants to know about this is a pretty worthless thread.
I keep checking cuz I wonder why the question in the first place.
Nawww....
Thought about valve stem covers, but gen1 cars can use plastic....no tpms?!
sure the optional painted metal ones are the same....lol.
Just shows how different these two cars are...then again, what is compatible on a honda civic from 2002 and a crv from 2013?!

Gen 1 cars have TPMS too...
I wasn't thinking the valve stems though - the little screw on caps were what I was thinking of. I know they're compatible because I was putting some of my old Union Jack caps on my R60... and then took them off when I discovered that I only had three of them...
the r56 and r60 share many electrical components but different suspension. Also identical engine.
Sorry I wasn't better versed with my initial post.
I realize now I should've edited my initial question after I realized that the R56/R60 similarities were what I was after.
The reason for my question is because a lot of companies (specifically JDM ones) I have been looking into have products available for the R56 but may not have yet updated their offerings available for the R60.
If there were similarities I could confirm, I would be more comfortable ordering these parts ahead of time before waiting for them to update their website.
So....can anyone chime in as to what similarities there are (parts wise) between the R56 and R60?
Also, can a moderator help me edit the title of my thread so it doesn't continue to mislead?
Since this thread has a bit of humor...
I suggest just starting a new thread, with your extra info about asian import parts...so future readers do not have to wonder why we a talking about gen1, etc and read a full page to get more info...
