Anyone have the lower switches out of your CM? I'm curious as to access to wiring on fog light switch.

I'm fitting a roadster/coupe rear center fog light and want to wire it to OEM switch so when front fogs are on rear will be also.

Mical, it's easy to tell from your posts that you are quite the "tinkerer"

haha... yea I tend to tweak/fine tune vehicles to my liking. The Mini was a perfect fit with the "you-ification" philosophy.

I also need to tap in the switches for my Hella 500 power. Looking at he switches, the entire lower panel is 1pc. It may be possible to remove 1 sw., but I know the panel comes as 1 unit w/ the switches installed(in about 4 variations no less).

Yea, I dabbled w/it today had "mickey" off, side panel trim and there looks to be 4 screws around speedo that has to come off and 6 screws on center panel, then it should pull forward. I saw on Real OEM that the switch panel is held on by 2 screws also.
I'm going to need more time w/it, so I buttoned it up for now until rear fog lamp assembly gets here. Will keep you posted.
