Radio preset#1 button doesn't work
 

Got a 2012 CMS w/ stock radio (no Nav) and my wife noticed that the #1 preset button on the radio/sat is not working (worked in the past).

I can use the steering wheel control to change my preset to #1; but the actual button doesn't work. I can also push the other preset buttons from #2 and up on the radio/sat panel and they all work.

Anyone seen this issue before? I have an appt to have it looked at with my Mini Service Advisor this Thursday. I hope it's an easy fix.

I'd be interested to hear what they say.

My 1 button works but it's not very responsive and I have to push it really hard.

Update: after my visit with my Mini Service Advisor the whole radio will need be replaced. They ordered the radio replacement and I have an appointment to bring my Countryman in next week to get the replacement radio installed.

Good thing it's just the radio and I can still motor on while waiting for the radio to arrive.

I have started to notice that my number 1 button isn't always the most responsive too. I wonder if I should have it checked out.

I have a 2012 JCW Roadster and the #1 preset has also quit working - has not worked since a defective switch in the steering column was replaced. My dealership is over 150 miles away, so I will just add it to the list of stuff to be done when I go in for it's annual.

my #1 button works just fine, but the right most button that is mostly used to back out of submenus (return?) starting just today, has to be held for a couple of seconds, does not work with just a press
